Pierce Brosnan has paid tribute to his wife Keely Shaye Smith on their 23rd wedding anniversary, branding her his "beautiful brown-eyed girl."

The pair have been together for 30 years and have been married for 23 of them having tied the knot in Ballintubber Abbey in August 2001.

They share two sons — Dylan, 27, and Paris, 23 — with both having a background in modeling and appearing on the cover of GQ Magazine.

Sharing a collage of four photos throughout their 30 years together, Pierce said: "Happy 23rd anniversary my darling Keely my beautiful brown-eyed girl, my north, my south, my east and west.

‘'All my love, should I fall behind wait for me."

Friends and followers took to the comments to extend well wishes to the love birds.

One said: "Beautiful words Pierce. To many more years with your brown-eyed girl."

Another commented: "Love you Keely and Pierce! Congratulations!"

A third added: "Happy anniversary you most magnificent love birds."

It comes not long after Keely paid tribute to the Bond star on his birthday, with the journalist sharing a throwback picture to mark his 71st birthday back in May.

"Happy Birthday to the love of my life @piercebrosnanofficial. You are my rock, my anchor, my everything… and I love you endlessly."

It comes following a hectic year to date for the actor, who is set to star in "Four Letters of Love" alongside Helena Bonham Carter as well as the drama "Places, Please" with Kathy Bates.

Elsewhere, the Louth native was confirmed in the movie adaptation of "The Thursday Murders Club," which was written by "Pointless" co-host Richard Osman. Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley have also been named on the star-studded cast list.

The story follows a group of geriatric friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun, but find themselves caught in a real case involving a property developer.

The best-selling books have become a global phenomenon in the genre dubbed "cozy crime," garnering a staggering fan base worldwide.

The first novel in the series was released in 2020 to critical acclaim and was the fastest-selling adult crime debut in recorded history.

Since then there have been three more novels published, which have sold over 10 million copies combined. A fifth novel is on the way in 2025 also.
