Shane MacGowan's wife Victoria Mary Clarke has said that the Pogues legend is "praying for peace and love for everyone in the world" in a recent post on social media.
Clarke has shared regular updates since MacGowan was admitted to hospital in July, sharing photos of her husband in a hospital bed. MacGowan's illness is unknown.
Clarke shared a smiling photo of her husband on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, alongside a caption stating that MacGowan is praying for peace and love in the world.
"Shane is praying for peace and love for everyone in the world," Clarke said on Sunday.

Several people sent MacGowan messages of peace and love in response to Clarke's tweet.
"Thank you, Shane! We're also sending great energy right back at you, legend," one X user said.
"God Bless You Shane. You are and always have been my inspiration, and for your works and contributions, you deserve the Nobel prize," said another.
Clarke said earlier in October that she was "really grateful" that MacGowan was looking so "bright" in hospital and said the Pogues legend was "determined" to get home.
"Feeling really really grateful that @ShaneMacGowan is looking so bright today! And we are as determined as ever to get home! Thank you a million times to all of the doctors and nurses and all of the staff and everyone who is visiting him," Clarke said in a post on October 3.
