In honor of the 10th anniversary, Hublot also created 10 limited edition timepieces aptly named the Classic Fusion Veuve Clicquot, and polo player Nacho Figueras wore the timepiece both on and off the field. The watch includes two interchangeable straps—one Veuve Clicquot yellow alligator skin and the other black alligator skin – and retails for $17,000 at the Hublot Fifth Avenue Boutique.

“Today was a true culmination of 10 years in the making and Veuve Clicquot is incredibly thankful for all of our loyal consumers and partners that helped bring the anniversary celebrations to life,” states Jean-Marc Gallot, President and CEO, Veuve Clicquot. “We look forward to continuing this exciting polo tradition for many years to come.”

Off the polo field, Veuve Clicquot executed a full takeover of New York City in the week leading up to the event, culminating with the lighting of the Empire State Building in the iconic Veuve Clicquot Yellow hue on June 2 – the night before the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Veuve Clicquot’s President Jean-Marc Gallot, Senior Vice President Vanessa Kay, Nacho Figueras, and the Empire State Building team gathered at the world-famous building for an honorary lighting ceremony, where Nacho flipped the official switch and gifted a signed polo ball to commemorate the event for years to come.
