The Church Café, Late Bar & Restaurant has invited Taylor Swift - as well as her diehard Swiftie fanbase - for a visit this week when The Eras tour hits Dublin.

“13 years ago we had the pleasure of having a certain artist in for dinner,” the venue in Dublin's City Center said on social media on June 19.

“We hear she's due back in Dublin next weekend so Taylor Swift feel free to stop by again!”

The bar and restaurant shared a photo of Swift’s signature from her visit 13 years ago.

Alongside Swift's signature are those from members of her entourage David Cook, Paul Sidoti, Caitlin Evanson, Elizabeth Huett, Shayna Steele, and Claire Calloway.

Darren Moore, manager of The Church, has since told the PA news agency that Swift visited with her entourage on March 24, 2011.

At the time, the popstar was in the midst of her "Speak Now" world tour - she performed at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on March 25 and Dublin's O2 Arena on March 27. Both shows, much like her current Eras Tour, were sold out.

"Speak Now" was Swift's second world tour, and her first time headlining in Ireland. She returned to Ireland for her 1989 world tour in 2015, as well as her Reputation world tour in 2018.

Moore said that he had received a phone call requesting a booking for an important person and that Swift and her entourage later arrived in six vans with tinted windows. He said he was asked to keep the Grammy-winning musician’s presence under wraps.

While The Church kept Swift's name under wraps, the bar did post on Facebook that night: "There is a fleet of blacked out people carriers outside the door! I wonder who is in for dinner tonight???!!! : )"

(Moore later commented on the post confirming that it was Swift who was in for dinner.)

This week, Moore said that Swift and her crew were given private seats on the bar’s mezzanine level overlooking the bar and restaurant during their visit 13 years ago.

“We had some Irish music and dancing at the time, so they were listening to that and watching the dancing," Moore said.

“They were really nice people. She was really nice. Very polite and really easy to deal with.

“I suppose we didn’t want to intrude. Social media was around, but it wouldn’t have been as prevalent as it is now, so we didn’t really want to intrude, asking for photos.

“We have a guest book, so I asked ‘Would you guys mind signing the book when you’re leaving?'”

He added: “It was 13 years ago now and she was a big star then, but not as big as she is now.

“We’d love to have her back here again. It would be great to welcome her back in again.

“We wish her all the best with her amazing tour. Perhaps she can rebook the same table.

“I hope she enjoys her time in Ireland as well.”

Taylor Swift - who was recently discovered to have some Irish ancestry - is set to perform three sold-out concerts of her smash hit Eras Tour at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on June 28, 29, and 30.
