More than 50,000 fans packed out the Aviva on both Friday and Saturday night, with another capacity crowd bidding the US megastar farewell on Sunday.

The US singer, 34, played the last of her three blockbuster Eras Tour dates at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday before heading back to mainland Europe to continue her tour.

Immediately endearing herself to fans, the singer told the ecstatic crowd that ‘nights 1 and 2 were just warm-up shows for tonight’.

Swift told fans it was a thrill and an honor that they made Eras the first tour to ever sell out the venue three nights in a row.

There was also a nod to Ireland during a rendition of her massive hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", when her dancer Kameron N Saunders jumped into quip "bleedin' eejit".

On Friday night, Saunders said ‘póg mo thóin’ (kiss my ass), and on Saturday he said ‘the Neck of Ye’, where Swift would usually say “Like Ever” in the recorded edition of the hit.

Actress Julia Roberts and musician Stevie Nicks were among those in the crowd at the third and final concert. Her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, also appeared at the show about halfway through, prompting huge cheers from the crowd.

Something of a draw for the young Swifties, the Hollywood icon signed autographs and graciously took friendship bracelets before the start of the show.

Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks was also spotted in a VIP box before the show. The singer has been in Ireland for several days ahead of her own concert in the 3Arena on Wednesday evening (July 3).

The singer was spotted with fellow VIPs in a tented area wearing a face covering.

Taylor and Stevie have developed something of a mutual appreciation society — with Taylor even name-checking the veteran singer in her song "Clara Bow" off her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department".

For her part, Stevie said that Taylor’s song "You’re On Your Own Kid" helped her deal with her grief after Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Christine McVie, died after a battle with cancer.

In December when Swift was honored as the 2023 Time Person of the Year, Nicks said in the article "I don’t give Taylor advice about being famous. She doesn’t need it."

Swift paid tribute to Nicks at the start of her acoustic set close to the end of her performance. She described a friend of hers watching the show, going on to say mentors are the reasons why many can do what they do, but added they can be rare.

Before playing her song "Clara Bow" in which Nicks is mentioned, Swift spoke at length about her love for the Fleetwood Mac star.

She said: "The reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here who’s watching the show and who has been one of the reasons why I, or any female artist, get to do what we get to do.

"She’s become friends with so many female artists just to be a guiding hand. I can’t tell you how rare that is.

"She’s a hero of mine and also someone that I can tell any secret and she’d never tell anybody. She’s really helped me through so much over the years. I’m talking about Stevie Nicks!"

"Bridgerton" star Florence Hunt was also spotted in the crowd before the concert got underway.

"Ireland AM" star Tommy Bowe was photographed in high spirits before the show. Wearing a pink Stenston with a fur trim, the former rugby international sported heart-shaped glasses.

Irish celebrities were out in force for Friday's show with Ryan Tubridy, Amy Huberman, Brian O’Driscoll and fellow rugby legends Johnny Sexton and Rory Best in attendance.

On Saturday night, golf star Shane Lowry was there with his wife Wendy along with their seven-year-old daughter, Iris. Ardal O’Hanlon and Def Leppard star. Joe Elliot. were also spotted enjoying the concert on Saturday.

The Father Ted star had an armful of friendship bracelets and said he was with the "unlikeliest of fans." Virgin Media presenter Karen Koster also made her way to Lansdowne Road.

Although fans were particularly noisy at Sunday’s show, the American pop star appeared to be caught off guard during last night’s performance.

She was treated to fans chanting "ole, ole, ole"  for several minutes during Saturday’s show, and Swift seemed genuinely taken aback by the reaction.

Swift told the audience: "Oh my god, here’s the thing, we’ve done like I dunno, we’ve done like 110 shows on this tour, something like that and like this … this is the first time like, I really don’t know what to say, my band and I are just looking at each other with our mouths hanging open.

"That was actually crazy, like we’re trying to be prepared, but we’re not prepared for the level that you’re on, Dublin."

She also said: "What you just did for us, we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We love you so much."

Swift will play dates in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria before returning to the UK in August for five nights at Wembley Stadium in London.
