The Wolfe Tones have cancelled their retirement just over a week after their supposed last-ever gig for a "final farewell" stadium show.
After 60 years of entertaining fans around the world, Brian Warfield and his bandmates took to the stage on October 13 in Dublin’s 3Arena for The Wolfe Tones final advertised show.
Despite their three gigs in Dublin being dubbed their "last," fans began speculating that the rebel band wouldn’t be out of action for too long as they teased supporting Oasis in Croke Park.

In news that will please those who missed out on their recent tour or Electric Picnic performance, The Wolfe Tones will perform at Limerick’s Thomond Park on July 13, 2025.
“We’re very grateful to be invited back for a massive stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick," the group said in a statement on Wednesday morning.
Tickets for their last Irish show are priced at €49.90 and €59.90 and go on sale Monday, October 28, at 9 am from Ticketmaster. Pre-sale access will be available from October 25.

Speaking about the show, Brian said: "We have been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to the recent shows at the 3Arena, Dublin, and SSE Arena, Belfast.
"All shows sold out very fast and we know that a lot of people were left disappointed they could not see The Wolfe Tones for one last time.
"We are truly humbled, and the demand to see the group in a major outdoor setting for a final time has been immense.
"We are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to perform in a major stadium concert at the famed Thomond Park on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
"It will be the final farewell and goodbye to all our friends, so let’s do it in true Limerick style!"

Last Chance
Following their mini Dublin-residency, Brian said he was "ready for a break" after "a very busy year with all the gigs all over the place."
"It was absolutely amazing. The crowd were so enthusiastic. It was unbelievable. We couldn’t have asked for a better send off. There was a huge crowd. Everybody was enthusiastic about it.
"Everybody was singing along with the songs. It was amazing," he told the Irish Mirror.
