Rescue Ranch, a non-profit animal sanctuary, at Tremone Bay in Co Donegal is on a mission to rehome elderly and neglected animals.
For the past year, owners couple Scott and Elizabeth Bauman have been running an incredible fundraiser to raise funds for Rescue Ranch that will see one lucky person win an oceanfront holiday home on the Inishowen Peninsula, plus 1/3 acre of fenced land that the house is located on... just in time for the holiday season!

The draw date for this life-changing prize is just a few weeks away on December 26, 2024. Tickets cost only €75 ($79) and each ticket holder will also receive a complimentary 1ft x 1ft patch of Irish land with a downloadable ownership certificate.
A cash alternative prize of €250,000 ($270K) is also up for grabs along with some incredible runner-up prizes.
In the weeks leading up to the big draw, the lucky winners of the runner-up prizes are being revealed with more to come! So far the 5th and 4th winners of the raffle have been announced.
The 5th prize, a three-night stay at a 4-star Hotel in Donegal went to Mary O'Donnell from St. Petersburg, Florida.
Following this, the 4th prize, a trip for two to New York City which includes plane fare with Aer Lingus, a stay at the Marriott Hotel, and €1000 spending money went to Jackie Gallanagh from Buncrana, Co Donegal.
Speaking about winning the runner-up prize Jackie said, "I'm so delighted to have won this trip. New York is amazing and I'm looking forward to getting in a show on Broadway."

The 2nd prize, a fully paid wedding package for up to 100 guests at a 4* Donegal hotel, a spectacular backdrop for your treasured wedding photographs will be on December 21, 2024.
The Story of Rescue Ranch
"We established the Rescue Ranch in the fall of 2019. We had been looking for the perfect piece of property to do this and the land in Ballyharry was just perfect - great grazing fields, small mountains, and a natural spring river running alongside it," explains Scott.
"We take in any animal that is old or unwanted and rehome them the best we can. If we can't do that we keep them, we would never allow a healthy animal to be euthanized."
"The raffle will provide us the funds to finally build a proper barn and start working the land. Whatever is left over will go a long way in the care and feeding of the animals."
What can the winner expect life in Donegal to be like if they decide to move there or treat it as their second home?
"Life in Donegal is truly magical. Where the site is located is like going back in time. Very few people live in this area and everyone looks out for one another, it is a great place to live or even raise a family. You also have a few small towns nearby for supplies and the occasional pint of Guinness!" says Scott.
