A Circuit Judge, based in Orlando, Florida, has blamed his rude, loud and angry on his “Irish temper”. The judge admitted that he violated judicial ethics due to his conduct.

Judge Timothy Shea admitted that he demeaned a female prosecutor by saying that it is best to let a woman talk until she’s finished. He said this while holding up his hand and moving it like a yapping mouth.

Shea asked the same prosecutor is she was helping another assistant state attorney “by bringing her a sandwich.” His outburst was so loud that he could be heard outside chambers.

According to the Miami Herald Shea expressed remorse and agreed to be publicly reprimanded by the Florida Supreme Court. The stipulation was filed on Wednesday. It was signed by lawyers for Shea along with the Judicial Qualifications Commission, who will investigate the Judge.
