"Bring Them Down" stars the "Saltburn" star alongside Christopher Abbott ("Poor Things") and Colm Meaney and will be Christopher Andrews’s directorial debut.

Christopher plays Michael who lives with his ailing father, Ray (Meaney) and is burdened with a terrible secret which has resulted in him hiding away.

A conflict arises with rival farmer Gary (played by Paul Ready) and his son Jack (Keoghan) which forces Michael to look at his past.

The star-studded film will premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival, which kicks off on September 5.

Streaming service MUBI will then release the flick for viewers across Ireland and the UK, North America, Latin America, Belgium, Luxembourg, Turkey and the Netherlands.

The project was first announced in 2021, with Paul Mescal and Strike’s Tom Burke initially tipped to play the roles of the feuding sons.

Elsewhere, another Keoghan-starring film, "Bird", is set to be released in Irish cinemas on Friday, November 8.

The film, which received a seven-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Festival earlier this year, sees the Dublin native playing a single father to a 12-year-old girl and her young brother in a North Kent squat.

Barry’s character is so neglectful to his daughter that the youngster takes matters into her own hands and embarks on an adventure.

English filmmaker Andrea Arnold directed the film which also stars German actor Franz Rogowski as the eccentric titular character, Bird.

Following its premiere at the Grand Lumiere Theatre on May 16, the film’s traditional standing ovation from those in attendance lasted seven minutes.

"Thank you, this is really lovely but I really want to go and party right now," Andrea told the theatre following the electric response to her film.

Debuting with 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, it looks likely that Barry could already be on his way to a second Academy Awards nomination for his work on "Bird".
